YBA members participated at the “Eco Patara” camp


On August 3-5 within the Joint Civic Education’s Ecolab National program “Artsakh Youth Development Center” (AYDC) NGO organized an “Eco Patara Camp” in the village Patara, Askeran region, Artsakh. The YBA members Anahit Mantashyan, Maria Antonosyan and Arsen Gasparyan participated at the camp. The aim of Eco Patara Camp was: to spread eco-mentality among the youth, to give information on natural-historical monuments and rational use of natural resources in Artsakh /there are 8 monument groups in the village Patara (monasteries, churches, cemeteries, castles) and 7 natural monuments/. During the camp the participants had lectures, talks, seminars, cleaning works and entertainment. The project was realized with the support of Joint Civic Education NGO, NKR Rescue Service and contributions of benefactors from Patara village. Project Managers: Stepan Grigoryan – historian, public activist; Tatevik Jangiryan: Coordinator of Environmental Projects at Artsakh Youth Development Center NGO.
